HJ Cooper Hot Water Systems
HJ
Cooper is one of New Zealand's most respected manufacturers and suppliers
of water heating products. Established in Auckland in 1908, HJ Cooper
has become synonymous with quality and reliability and has survived to
become an icon in the plumbing industry. HJ Cooper's extensive product
range includes gas, electric and solar water heaters, and boiling water
units. Based in Avondale, Auckland, the company distributes throughout
New Zealand and across the Pacific region.
HJ Cooper is also the New Zealand's Distributor for the Bosch Continuous Hot Water Systems. Bosch Thermotechnology has been delivering hot water to New Zealand and Australian Homes for nearly 50 years, and forms part of the worldwide Thermotechnology division of Robert Bosch. Bosch provides hot water solutions for every water heating need.

Copper's low pressure electric hot water cylinder, the Super Economiser,
is available in a wide range of sizes to suit any application or space,
and comes with a 5 year warranty. If the Super Economiser doesn't quite
offer enough pressure in your hot water system you may be better off
with the Mid Way Plus cylinder. H J Copper's Mid-Way Plus is a medium
pressure cylinder that uses a heavy gauge copper inner vessel. The heavier
gauge cylinder allows the hot water to be delivered at a higher pressure
than the Super Economiser. The Mid-Way Plus improves shower performance
and stops temperamental fluctuations when someone else turns on a tap.
This cylinder also comes with a 5 year warranty.
The
mains pressure electric storage cylinder range on offer at HJ Copper
range are manufactured from a high grade corrosion resistant stainless
steel Known as duplex. For the water heating industry stainless steel
offers the benefits of excellent corrosion resistance, tolerance of high
flow rates, strength, and excellent durability. The material's excellent
resistance to corrosion compared to mild steels eliminates the need for
a protective coating and a sacrificial anode, which must be inspected
every year for erosion and replaced if necessary, making mild steel storage
cylinders high maintenance.
HJ Copper also has a range of low pressure under sink electric water heaters in 9, 14, 22 and 44 litre sizes.
